Craigardan is proud to be a partner in this Winter's Empty Bowl, Full Heart dinner in honor of Carmina Leabres Drake.  The dinner has been organized by community members to honor Carmina and perpetuate the charitable concept of the traditional empty bowl dinner here in Keene.  All proceeds will benefit the Keene Food Pantry.  

Potters will be busy throwing bowls, and restaurants and farmers will be preparing food to donate to the event.  Participants can purchase a bowl, fill it with food for a light meal, and take the bowl home as a reminder of those who go hungry around the world and around the corner.  

Craigardan will open its studio on Saturday, February 3rd and Saturday, February 10th for community members to come make a bowl or two to donate.  Studio assistants will be on hand to help those who need it, or to teach a beginner how to make a simple slab bowl.  All time, materials, and firings will be donated.
