Instructors: The Space We Make collaborators
During this workshop we will move through outdoor landscapes to experiment with collecting images on our smart phones. We will repurpose our ubiquitous and daily technology as a lens through which to capture the human form in nature. Guided exercises direct us through space to explore individual and collective curiosity, and what it's like to capture images with a loose hand and experimental eye. Simple movement exercises invite us to re-think our perceptions of how the human body exists in a natural landscape. The workshop will begin with a short warm-up followed by playful techniques and skill sharing for how to craft and create images of the body in nature. At the end of our time we will share our images in a low-key "share and tell."
Workshop Fee - $20 (all proceeds go toward the Paul Z. Nowicki Master Artists Fellowship)
