The Dead Are Gods: Writing Through Grief with Eirinie Carson

  • Craigardan 9216 New York 9N Elizabethtown, NY, 12932 United States (map)

Join writer Eirinie Carson for a two hour exploration of writing through grief. Together we will bring a little light to a dark conversation as we break through the discomfort of talking about the grief associated with death, leaving us all less burdened as we settle into catharsis and community.

Goals for the workshop will be to:

  • Foster free and easy dialogue about the often-avoided topic of death

  • Create a safe space in which to be candid and vulnerable

  • Write a postcard to a beloved person we have lost, with the aim of tapping into the grief, and in inviting people to share their postcard, to air out of sight, out of mind subject matter.

WHERE: Craigardan

WHEN: August 4th, 2022 6 pm - 8pm

COST: $30

A limited number of full scholarships are available please email program@craigardan.org to inquire.
