Mondays and Wednesdays, 6-8pm
Instructor: Caitlyn Wright
While expanding on basic throwing and handbuilding skills, this class focuses on individual preferences of cooking and eating in order to design & make new and exciting tableware! We will explore our favorite meals, and examine their execution and presentation in order to design serving or tableware to complement the meal. The class will cover intermediate level techniques & conscientious design principles through the bisque & glaze firing processes. Each participant will take home their own piece(s) of serving ware or tableware, glazed and fired to 2300 degrees in the wood kiln.
$185 including materials and firings | 6 sessions + Saturday open studio
